Archive

An archive consists of archive items. Archive items within the same archive are characterised by having the same list of elements that makes these items unique. Within WESHAPE, this list of characteristics is called a “template”. This template is defined in the archive. The archive functions as a collection of these items. Examples of archives are the finishes you apply, the mixture of colours your client can pick from, the different designs you can apply, or the individual items you created.

Create archive

Follow theses steps to create an archive

  1. Navigate to the archive module
  2. Use the ”+ add archive” button (ADD PICTURE)
  3. Upload a thumbnail and a name for the archive. The thumbnail will be used in the archive overview
  4. (optional) Start creating your template using the ”+ add field” button. For each field you want to add, a name and a type will have to be chosen. We currently provide the following field type options: “text”, “dropdown”, and “archive item”. When selecting “dropdown”, you are asked to provide the possible “options” the user will be able to select
  5. Save the archive
